THE EFFECT OF ANKLE BALANCE STRATEGY EXERCISE USING TRADITIONAL GAME MEDIA DAMPU BULAN TO IMPROVE CONCENTRATION IN CHILDREN AT AT-TAQWA BEKASI DAY SCHOOL
Abstract
Background: School-age children own gadgets and spend long periods of time playing with them every day. Excessive use of gadgets can have a negative impact, namely decreased concentration. One of the steps to improve concentration is through physical activity, such as playing traditional dampu bulan games. Objective: To determine the effect of ankle balance strategy exercise using traditional dampu bulan game media to improve concentration in children. Methods: Method: This study used a pre- experimental method with one group pre-test post-test. A total of 12 people who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria participated. The intervention was carried out 3 times a week for 4 weeks with light to moderate intensity for 10 minutes. Results: From all research objects, the average concentration before intervention was 6.33 and after intervention was 10.00. Hypothesis testing shows the results of a p value of 0.000, namely there is an effect of traditional dampu bulan game intervention on children's concentration. Conclusion: The traditional game of dampu bulan has an effect on improving concentration in children.

3. Author Online Use
- Personal Servers. Authors and/or their employers shall have the right to post the accepted version of articles pre-print version of the article, or revised personal version of the final text of the article (to reflect changes made in the peer review and editing process) on their own personal servers or the servers of their institutions or employers without permission from RCEPM-LIPI, provided that the posted version includes a prominently displayed RCEPM-LIPI copyright notice and, when published, a full citation to the original publication, including a link to the article abstract in the journal homepage. Authors shall not post the final, published versions of their papers;
- Classroom or Internal Training Use.
